Lorraine has been responsible my property for a number of years now. She is always friendly, efficient and has a wealth of experience. There have been some difficult issues to address, including subsidence that affected the conservatory. I started doing my business with Eastons in 2012 when I was both a tenant with them, and then selling my previous home. They really made every effort to ensure that I got the best price and that everything ran smoothly. I was kept updated at all times and I was impressed with the service I received which meant that I did not have to worry about anything and I could leave them to it which was exactly what I needed!
Additionally I felt valued and appreciated as a tenant and my experience was there was a good balance of understanding and action! If there was a maintenance issue things would be addressed promptly and efficiently. The engineers were highly skilled and would ensure that the situation was resolved quickly, as with boiler and heating repairs where their expertise was evident and nothing seemed to present as a challenge. I always felt reassured that things would get sorted which gave me peace of mind. As a long term tenant and a private person the team at Eastons do their level best to make sure there is a personal touch in their dealings with you. However this was balanced out with kind respect for my need for privacy.

I am a professional landlord with a number of properties. I was introduced to Eastons by a fellow landlord. As I was not totally happy with my previous agent, when I new bought a new property I thought I would let it through Eastons. I was pleased that they understood the market and were able to target the property at the right clients. They were good at vetting the potential clients so we only had serious viewing. As my properties come up for renewal I am moving them across to Eastons to find clients and manage certain aspects of the properties.
I first started using Eastons in 2004 when I became an 'accidental landlady' when I inherited my parents flat. I used Eastons at the time because they were very supportive and guided me through the letting maze. Nothing was too much trouble. They have relet my flat on a number of occasions since, and have dealt with exiting tenants for me. I have been quite specific about the type of tenant I was looking for, and they have made good matches. I am very happy with their service and have recommended them to a number of my friends. Paul Taylor is especially helpful and good with the paperwork and keeping me informed. An excellent company

From the minute we met Josh and Drew we had absolute confidence that Easton’s were the right estate agents, they were recommended by someone within the trade and they lived up to what they were recommended for, we had a quick sale from Easton’s who acted very quickly to all requests and made things move quickly. Even when we had hold ups from the buyers solicitors they became very supportive by speaking to all sides and making a constant chain of communication to all sides so things moved on very quickly. I know perhaps you were just doing your job but I needed to say thank you very much for the many times you stepped in to sort out some maintenance emergency or random admin bit or forwarding copies of our lease at a moment notice.
I don’t remember if I ever met you but somewhere in my dodgy memory I know I will remember you as the super efficient lady from Eastons who saw each and every question I asked through to the end and always gave us her best.

At the point Lorraine took over the management of our property we were seriously considering changing our letting/management company. However her arrival was like a breath of fresh air - she always responded promptly to our enquiries and kept us informed of any developments with the property as they arose. Often her responses have clearly been well outside of office hours. We decided to stay with Eastons for a change of tenants.
Lorraine handled the termination of a tenancy well - She offered sound advice and kept us informed throughout. Some redecoration work to the property was required between tenants and unfortunately this turned into a nightmare which included the discovery of two significant areas of emergency work (one covered by our insurance, the other not). This on top of the known redecoration work.
Lorraine fully managed the restoration of our property back to standard. She arraigned quotes for work, dealt with our insurance company's, managed multiple contractors (often being present at the property) and, again, kept us fully informed and advised throughout. Her experience and contacts proved invaluable in ensuring the (significant amount of) work ran as smoothly as possible and that costs did not become unmanageable. She personally made sure potential hurdles with the works were overcome. Lorraine then handled the introduction of new tenants to the property smoothly.
We are very satisfied with the service provided by Lorraine. We are likely to need continue to rent our property for some years and we feel our family home is safe in Lorraine's hands."
I was initially very sceptical about using a lettings agent, after all they take a significant slice of the profit you make as a landlord. Hearing so many horror stories in the past, and neighbours having bad experiences with local agents, I spoke to Eastons after a recommendation from a friend. I was greeted with very clear documentation and a very clear meeting of what will happen with the "on boarding" process. Within 3 weeks, my property was let, and I still have the same great tenants in the property. Eastons selection process is so much better then anything I could do. Day to Day management is a doddle, they want to work with you as a landlord, and not rip you off at any opportunity. If you want them to manage everything, they will, if you want to know and have the opportunity to fix anything, they will work with you and your timeframes/contractors to allow you to fix the problems yourself. Their inspection team is great, their report attention to detail is amazing, and the management team know exactly how to manage multiple properties. They now manage 1 other property and the communal area in another, I couldn't recommend them enough.
Julie called me earlier today to say that the references on the new tenants had been received and that they were moving in later today.
So just a note to everyone to say thank you for all the hard work over the last couple of months – it’s been a very difficult time for everyone I know. You’ve all worked really hard to solve the problems caused by our previous tenants and given that it’s less than two months since we discovered the house was being sublet, it’s a really great achievement to have secured vacant possession and found new tenants in such a short space of time.
Well done for the hard work, extra hours, perseverance and professionalism. They do you credit
