Shawley Community Primary Academy

Shawley Community Primary Academy provides a caring and supportive environment and have high expectations of success. Our staff team is committed to creating an enthusiasm for learning and providing the best education to enable all children to achieve their full potential. Our school motto is 'Together we THRIVE' - Togetherness, Healthy, Resilience, Inspiration, Values, Excellence. Our vision is to be a community that strives for excellence and fosters a love of learning for all. We believe the opportunities we provide throughout the school and the building of the children’s self-esteem enables all our children to achieve the best they possibly can. Our Shawley Fundraisers (PTA) are committed to organising a variety of events to bring the community together, alongside raising much needed funds to support the education of our children. Some of the items they have funded are; resources for the Early Years Outdoor area, canopy between the main school and unit, wet play games for every class, revamp of the school library, reading books for every class, maths resources for every class, forest school storage, lease of iPads, to name a few. They are currently raising funds to create a sensory garden in our school grounds. Our upcoming events open to the community are: Children’s Market on Saturday 9th July, 12-2 to support our young entrepreneurs. Festival of Fun on Saturday 17th September, 12-3 for a fun filled afternoon of music, entertainment, games, activities, BBQ, refreshments and bar. We look forward to seeing you soon!
